July 1st - "Invictus" - based on the true story of Nelson Mandela seeking to unify the people of South Africa using a rugby team.  Stars Morgan Freeman & Matt Damon.

July 8th - "Born into Brothels" - inspiring documentary on the lives of children in India, who photograph their lives and their hopes!

July 15th - "Master and Commander" - high seas adventure, featuring characters from the novels of Patrick O'Brien.  Stars Russell Crow and Paul Bettany.

Upcoming Events for Episcopal Churches in the Worcester Corridor

August 28th at Good Shepherd, Clinton - a teaching on Icons and their use as a prayer companion.  Event includes admission to the Museum of Russian Icons located next door to the church and a time of sharing and fellowship.

October 2nd at St. Lukes, Worcester - The Rev. Dr. John Lewis of the Work+Shop in San Antonio, Texas will present two sessions on scripture and the life of discipleship.  Rev. Lewis is co-director of the workshop, an Oxford-trained New Testament scholar with a passion for helping people engage God's word as part of a daily practice of discerning where God is leading them and is active in their lives.

November 20th at All Saints, Worcester - The Most Rev. Katharine Jefferts-Schori will make a visit to Worcester County and help to celebrate the ministry of all the Episcopal Churches in Worcester County at 11 am.

December - an Advent Quiet Day will be held in the Worcester Area.               More info to follow.
