SAINT MATTHEW’S CHURCH SCHOOL LOOKS FORWARD TO “STAYING ON TRACK WITH JESUS” IN 2009-2010!
During the Season of Lent, our Church School students and teachers have been experiencing an intensive learning experience about the events of Holy Week, the last week of Jesus' earthly life. Hands on activities will help our youngest members become familiar with and learn the stories of Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Day.

The Church School Mitebox Lenten Offering, as with Saint Matthew’s Lenten “Help for Haiti” will be directed towards helping the Sisters of Saint Margaret to rebuild their ministries in Haiti, especially those directed towards children. Miteboxes will be available beginning on Sunday, February 14th, The service of Ingathering of the Church School Mitebox Lenten Offering will be on the Second Sunday of Easter, April 11, 2010.

A note to parents: ALL of our Church School Staff are required to attend “Safe Church” Training, and to encourage “Safe Church” practices, to help keep ALL of Saint Matthew’s children safe. If you would like to know more about the “Safe Church” training and policies, please speak with the Rector.
Nursery News…..
The nursery is looking for some volunteers to help out one or two Sundays with our very young children (future St. Matthew’s parishioners!). We are also in need of donations for the nursery and our Sunday School programs. We need:
